The Northern Fleet announced a strategic exercise in the Arctic in the fall

The Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy will take part in a strategic exercise in the Arctic in the autumn, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Northern Fleet.

It is noted that the exercise will be the main test of the readiness of the forces and troops of the interspecific strategic association to perform tasks for their intended purpose.

According to the Chief of Staff of the Northern Fleet, Rear Admiral Vladimir Vorobyov, a series of interspecific exercises to ensure the safety of the Northern Sea Route is planned in the near future.

Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that Russia is conducting a military inspection in Estonia against the background of NATO exercises.*
