Unified fuel control system «Oprichnik»

Unified fuel control system «Oprichnik» is designed for remote accounting and monitoring of the amount of fuel received, the amount of fuel in fuel tanks and the consumption of the main and auxiliary power plants and other ship fuel consumers.

Scope of application:

  • Surface ships of the Russian Navy;
  • Submarines;
  • Civil vessels;
  • Icebreaker fleet.

The unified control system “Oprichnik” is designed for:

  • remote accounting and monitoring of the presence of fuel in fuel tanks and the consumption of the main and auxiliary power plants during the operation of ships (vessels);
  • commercial accounting of fuel received on the ship and transferred to other ships;
  • operational objective accounting of fuel consumption by shipboard fuel consumers (diesel engines, gas turbine engines, boilers, diesel generators, gas turbine generators);
  • operational objective accounting of fuel movement on the ship;
  • processing, storage, archiving and output of accumulated fuel intake, consumption and movement;
  • determination of fuel consumption by engines and boilers, taking into account the load of the unit;
  • preventing cases of theft and “inappropriate” fuel consumption;
  • identification of cases of increased fuel consumption by shipboard consumers.
Level measurement range:
from 0.5 to 9.0 m;
The main absolute error of measuring the fuel level:
not more than ± 10 mm;
The main error of fuel consumption measurements reduced to the upper limit of measurements:
3%;
The main absolute error of measuring the fuel temperature:
± 1 °С;
The main reduced error of mass measurement:
± 1 %;
Fuel consumption measurement range:
0...300,000 kg/h;
Ambient operating temperature range:
-40…+55 ° С;
Ambient temperature limit range:
-50…+70 °С;
Power supply parameters:
from the AC network with a voltage of 220 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.

The unified fuel control system «Oprichnik» includes the following devices and equipment:

  • flowmeters of liquid media «Coral-8»;
  • vibration density meters «Vibro-1»;
  • ship’s reflectometric level gauges «KRU-1RV»;
  • BCS blocks from the multifunctional control system MSK;
  • calculation and display control unit (BUVO);
  • computer system unit;
  • uninterruptible power supply device (UBP-1400-1-1);
  • shipboard pressure converters;
  • shipboard thermal converters;
  • interface converters (PI-485 Ex);
    power supply units (BP-77);
  • documentation device (UD-M312M);
  • the Oprichnik software package.
